Churnin Dirt Nationals
So what is Churnin Dust - The Series, and how does it relate to its bigger brother Churnin Dirt? After all, Churnin Dirt is a charity event in Richland Center that hit the national spotlight in its first year.
Churnin Dirt is known for being a ground pounding, ear rattlin’, smoke blowin’, good time.

Churnin Dust - The Series
On the other hand, Churnin Dust offers a ground tapping, ear hummin’, dust blowin’, good time as local business races their 5 ½ horsepower go-carts for their favorite charities.
Churnin Dust brings together local area businesses for the purpose of raising money and awareness for local charities. Businesses race their own go-karts (from Vetesnik Power Sports) to support a charity of their choice.
Caring Karts Churnin Dust is be a fun, noisy,
colorful and energetic addition to the Richland Center July 4
weekend. This year's race will be held on June 30, 2012 at Krouskup Park.
Smoking Karts is returning charity go-kart races to the Madison area after a 25 year absense. Smoking Karts will be held on August 25, 2012 at Miller and Sons Supermarket in Verona.
Your first chance to see what these charity go-kart races are all about will be April 21, 2012 at the very same Miller and Sons Supermarket. On that date, they are hosting 'Race Cars in the Parking Lot' from 9AM until 3PM. Miller's has graciously allowed us to put a kart on display that day plus the following week so you can get up close and personal. We will have information available at Miller's throughout the week, plus Churnin' Dust personnel will be at the store on April 21 from 9AM until 3PM to answer any of your questions. Just stop in.
On Sunday June 10, 2012, just after the parade during Hometown Days in Verona, we will have 3 hours of go-kart demonstrations for interested businesses, organizations and charities who wish to get involved. We are extremely appreciative of Miller and Sons for supporting us so fully.
